What is the blog about?

A Birding Blog is my personal record of birding in my local patch — a place to gather field notes, photographs, and video clips of the small moments that make time outdoors so rewarding. After moving home, my patch has changed dramatically: from a simple suburban garden to the open countryside and wetlands of Bickershaw Country Park, Pennington Flash, Byrom Woods, and the wider Wigan Flashes.
