Green Sandpiper @ Pennington Flash

As I was visiting Pennigton I had a quick look on the Mcr Birding Forum to see what was about, of note a Green Sandpiper (tringa ochropus) Length 21-23cm. Described as a elegant, but rather plump wader. It has a yelping alarm call that can help with identification as in bad light it can seem black and white.

So a visit scheduled for Sunday to see if we can find it.
