Stretford Meadows 14/8/2013

Took the dog for a walk last night (and my binoculars), even though it was later in the evening than yesterday the Kestrel was hunting around the same area as 13/8. Majestic hovering and swooping.

Also seen across the motorway 100s of Crows (Corvid's - Will have to keep an eye on this as it could get even larger towards Christmas and then around February it will split up ready for the breeding season) forming a communal roost for the evening and a couple of large flock of Gulls (couldn't identify properly) passed over flying North Westerly.

The Kestrel eventually sat on the motorway bridge surveying the meadows.

Great hour spent watching birds and walking the dog.
