Urban pollution problem highlighted in bird eggs
From the
analyses of eggs of Eurasian Dippers living in 33 rivers in South Wales and the
subsequent comparison the eggs of birds living along urban waterways with those
of their rural peers, a new study has shown how serious the issue of river
pollution remains in the UK's former industrial heartlands.
