In this day and age illegally killing in the UK should not be a factor in why birds of prey fail to successfully nest. I wait in anticipation for the proposals from DEFRA on how we can help to stop this. Shooting estates need to take responsibility and learn new ways of providing food for Hen Harriers and other birds of prey and lowering the impact of them on shooting stock.
